Filled with a bounty of nature's botanicalessences and herbs, our shampoo will nourish and harmonize your hair withoutweighing down your mane. Indulge in a cascade of botanical delights showeringupon your lovely locks. Healing herbs are lovingly infused in golden jojoba oiland swirled together with aromatic plant essences to create a functional workof art. Each batch takes over a month to create! This shampoo is so pure thatit may be diluted to use as a body wash. Many people find that they can washtheir hair less often with our Seabuckthorn Shampoo. The Shampoo works well with our Shine On Conditioner.

The mild sudsing of the shampoocomes from the combination of coco-protein and yucca root. Coco-protein isderived from the sugars, proteins and fatty acids of organic, virgin coconutoil. Coco-protein is a non-ionic saponifer that has been tested to be *free ofany recognized side effects. It is not detected in human tissue or urineand isfree from ethylene oxide (which can cause nitrosamine contamination) and alsofree from preservatives. It has excellent dermatological compatibility and alsohas low environmental impact as it is highly bio-degradable. Coco-protein isnot related to any of the sulfates, sulfides, or other surfactants which arebest avoided. The roots of the Yucca plant have been used traditionally byNative Americans as a natural body, hair, and laundry soap. Yucca root is veryhigh in saponins, the soap making ingredient, which causes the lather in ourshampoo. This special root also has emollient properties which have a soothingeffect on the hair shaft. This shampoo will invite your hair to shine and yourheart to sing in the shower.

Directions: Massage a smallamount into wet hair. Add water as necessary to create lather. Rinse. ApplyShine On Hair Conditioner. May be diluted further to use as a Body Wash and abubble bath.

Seabuckthorn Berry Oil, Hippophae rhamnoides, our specialsuper-critical extract balances and harmonizes the lipid layers of the skin. Itis beneficial for all skin types. Sea buckthorn gets to the root cause ofimbalances in the skin by going deep within the lipid layers and healing fromthe inside out. Seabuckthornis extraordinarily rich and vital oil that isperfectly balanced in omega 3, 6, 7 and 9 oils. Our sea buckthorn berry oil isa special extract that is able to capture over 190 bioactive substances in onedrop! The oil is also potent in antioxidants, has anti-inflammatory properties,carotenoids like beta carotene, and phytosterols that reduce redness and helpheal mucous membranes. We have been using sea buckthorn in many of our formulassince 1994 and have found that it regenerates cells, protects against cellwater loss and is rich in vitamins C, E, and pro-vitamins A and B. Seabuckthornoil is also rich in lipids, beneficial fatty acids and rare palmitoleic acids.All of these extraordinary plant properties contribute to regenerate andrevitalize connective tissue. Peppermint, Mentha piperita, perky peppermint clearsthe mind and brings its cache of cooling anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatorycompounds to care for dry, flaky scalps. Peppermint inspires circulation andwakes up the scalp to balance sebum production and leave the hair shiny andsoft.

Vetiver, Vetivera zizanodes essential oil, is arooted, earthy and grounding essence with a deep, mysterious fragrance. Vetiveroil is distilled from the root of a tropical grass and has a calming effect onthe scalp. Vetiver moisturizes and strengthens the hair shaft.

Lime, Citrus aurantifolia, this fresh, citrusyscent supports shiny, happy hair. Lime helps to clean the hair by releasingtrapped dirt and oils and renewing luster.
